Summary:
In my W7 64 setup taskbar gets hidden when autohide is turned off (as I want this). The resulting empty screen is not usable. Maximized windows stay the same size. An empty part of the desktop shows.

Hi Victor,

Have you downloaded the latest version (2.8) of Taskbar Eliminator? This issue has been fixed in that version.

Thanks :)

Seems to work. When used for the first time it made a mess of the taskbar. Screen blanked temporarily and then showed lowres for a few secs. Now everything seems OK. Had seen this before when trying to install some old XP32 driver on 7/64. Then I had to reinstall windows to correct some problems. System restore wouldn't work any more probably because some registry keys got locked up. Hope this isn't the case here.

NB Rss reader in Igooglepage doesnt seem to work. Did not notice your response.

Great to hear Victor :)

Taskbar Eliminator won't have any lasting effects on the system, its hides it purely temporarily - without changing any system files etc.

Let us know if you have any other problems!
