Download paintribbon from the Aviassin page and not from other sites!:) The program was just updated to fix that issue and its not yet available on softpedia, download.com etc. You'll see its been updated to 0.1.5 but other sites still only have 0.1.

I can not paste (after the Print Screen), open or anything else.
I have .net 2.0 and 3.0 with Service Packs.
I'm using the PC (Win XP SP3 and all the updates) as Admin.

Hi Mike,
The 'problems' you have outlined aren't actually issues, those functions simply aren't available in these very early releases of paintribbon. It is after all only version 0.1.5!
You can't currently paste into paintribbon, and the only usable buttons are those outlined on the paintribbon page:)
Can you draw shapes and lines in different colours and open and save .pic files?
Hopefully that clears up your problems a little:)

Hi I mainly want to use Paintribbon as a screenshot editor to replace the one in mspaint in windows xp since it looks like windows 7 paint

The error occurs because at the moment PaintRibbon can only open .pic image files, trying to open any others will give this error.

1. When will PaintRibbon Complete release?? In January, you told Solovei95 that it will be available "sometime in February", but it's now late March, your page is still showing "Coming Soon!", why?
2. PaintRibbon is bad for my computer: First, when I open or close it, my computer will hang, just like before the BSOD was appeared as there isn't enough memory (My computer has installed 1GB of memory)! Second, the buttons of the Ribbon can't be used, and can only draw striaght lines.

Yes, the final release of PaintRibbon Complete is taking longer than we expected! We're just trying to iron out all of the bugs from PaintRibbon. Also, Complete will be $9.99 - so we want to make sure you guys get your moneys worth! :) We're working hard adding as many new features as possible, and its looking awesome!
With free PaintRibbon, you should be able to draw line, circle, rectangle and star shapes. Do you have NET Framework 2.0 installed? Could you possibly give some more explanation as to the hanging issue? Is it occuring on both startup and shutdown? What exactly happens? Does it run fine at all times except starting and closing?
